Research data management
Responsible research data management is an essential component of good research practice. Prepare a data management plan after the grant is awarded and before the project starts.
Applications must be submitted through the ISAAC application and reporting system. If you do not have an ISAAC account yet, then please create one at least one workday in advance. More information about writing a proposal and which forms you need to use can be found in ISAAC. Please download and use the forms in ISAAC. Below you will find examples of the required forms.
The applicant indicates that they will submit an application in this round by means of a letter of intent. Timely submission of a letter of intent is a prerequisite for submitting a preliminary application and a full application.
The preliminary application is a concise application with a summary of the project proposal, a brief problem outline, substantiation of the innovative nature and the expected output. A budget need not be submitted with the preliminary application.
After the preliminary application has been processed and assessed, the applicant will receive a recommendation regarding development of the preliminary application into a full application.
In the application the project proposal is described, including a problem formulation, substantiation of the innovative nature and the expected outputs, a professional statement and a project plan. Along with the application a budget form is submitted.
The letter of intent is filled in directly in ISAAC. There is no separate form available.
There is a standard form for the preliminary application and the full application. The statement of the supervisor and (when applicable) a ‘letter of commitment’ for co-financing and/or matching can be submitted together with the application as one PDF file.
A separate Excel budget can be submitted with the full application.
