The burglaries, not the suspects. Although the suspects could be related too, for all we know. The crimes occurred late in the evening of May 21st and in the early morning hours of May 22nd, in the area of Willow Oak Road and Willow Drive in Mulberry. The suspects were dressed similarly with hoodies and backpacks. PPOLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICEyesterdayAgencyOn May May 22nd at around 6:50 pm, PCSO deputies noticed a white Dodge Ram repeatedly swerving on the road in the area of Combee Road and Kiwanis Avenue in Lakeland. A traffic stop was performed on the truck and the driver was identified as 35-year old Caitlyn Harvey, who didn't have a valid license. What Caitlyn DID have was a warrant for her arrest (battery on an elderly person). She was also in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Caitlyn was arrested and cooperative with deputies, so we do appreciate that. She was taken to the Polk Pokey on her warrant and additionally charged for Driving While License Suspended/Revoked, and Possession of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Drug Paraphernalia. I’m warning all BUSINESS VEHICLE Drivers and CITIZENS to please be aware of the driver scam rings occurring in Polk County and surrounding areas! These scammers are intentionally SLAMMING on their breaks with absolutely no reason except to collect lawsuits and get FREE MONEY. I have NOT had a car accident in over 15 years (still holding that title - thankfully) I’m from NY/NJ and have resided in multiple states and counties and I have to say that when I go to Polk County, it’s the WORST driving scammers! Miami, Daytona, Tampa etc is nowhere near as bad as these con artists within Polk County FROM MY EXPERIENCE! It’s absolutely intentionally done and happens often to me and other business owners and citizens! Please bring AWARENESS to this SCAM and inform others to be extra cautious for lazy scammers looking to collect a payday by putting others and themselves at risk by intentionally causing car accidents.. Multiple businesses owners have been reporting that this is occurring DAILY within Polk County and metro Orlando! The four are accused of stealing a vehicle from one neighborhood in Poinciana, then taking it to another neighborhood in Poinciana to commit a car burglary. The two crimes occurred on May 6th.
