Homestead is looking for an outgoing and service-oriented Golf Beverage Cart Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to golfers on the course by providing beverages, snacks, and light refreshments from a mobile cart. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and ensuring an outstanding golfing experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide friendly and efficient service to golfers, anticipating their needs and preferences.
Engage with guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
Operate the beverage cart safely and responsibly, adhering to all golf course rules and regulations.
Stock the cart with beverages, snacks, and other refreshments, ensuring adequate inventory throughout the shift.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart, following health and safety standards.
Sales And TransactionsAccurately handle cash and credit card transactions using a mobile point-of-sale (POS) system.
Keep track of sales and inventory, reporting any discrepancies to the manager.
Upsell and promote specials or new products to enhance sales.
Be knowledgeable about the products offered, including various beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), snacks, and any daily specials.
Comply with all local and state regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages, including checking IDs and managing consumption responsibly.
Communicate effectively with the golf course staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Assist with restocking and preparing the beverage cart for the next shift or event.
QualificationsPrevious experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality, retail, or food and beverage setting.
Basic knowledge of golf and the ability to interact comfortably with golfers of all skill levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak golfing hours.
